STORAGE
Long-Term Storage: If you will not be using the unit for an extended time (more
than a few weeks), it is best to clean and dry the unit completely, then store it.
Please store the unit per the following steps:
1. Unplug the unit and remove exhaust hose and window kit to store with the
unit.
2. Drain remaining water from the unit.
3. Clean the filter and let dry completely in a shaded area.
4. Re-install the filter.
5. Store the unit in an upright position.
6. Store the unit in a well-ventilated, dry, and safe indoor space free of gas
flow or any other potential source of ignition.
ATTENTION: The evaporator inside the machine must be dried out before the
unit is packed to avoid component damage and mold. Unplug the unit and
place it in a dry, open area for a few days to dry it out completely. As an
alternative method, you can also turn on the machine, adjust it to low-speed
ventilation mode, and operate it as such until the drainage pipe is dry. This will
ensure that the inside of the unit is sufficiently dry and prevent mold formation
during storage.
DISPOSAL
WARNING: Releasing refrigerant into the atmosphere is highly dangerous and
strictly forbidden, and doing so intentionally is illegal.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT dispose of electrical appliances as
unsorted municipal waste. Use separate, designated collection
facilities. Contact your local government for information
regarding the collection systems available in your area. If
electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps,
hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food
chain, damaging health and well-being.
