OPERATION MODE
The unit has five operation modes: COOL, DRY (dehumidifier), FAN, HEAT, and
SLEEP
A. Cooling your space
• Select COOL mode to lower the temperature in your space.
• Press MODE button repeatedly until the COOL indicator illuminates.
• Press UP/DOWN buttons to adjust temperature which is displayed on the
screen. The temperature can be set between 60°F and 90°F.
• Press SPEED button repeatedly until the desired fan speed indicator
illuminates.
• To control the direction of the air flow horizontally, adjust the inner louver
by hand.
Note: The air conditioning unit will stop if the room temperature is lower than
selected temperature.
C. Ventilating your space
• Select FAN mode to ventilate the air in your space.
• Press MODE repeatedly until the FAN indicator illuminates.
• In FAN mode, air is circulated but not cooled.
• Press SPEED button repeatedly to select desired fan speed.
D. Drying your space
• Select DRY mode to dehumidify your space.
• Press MODE repeatedly until the DRY indicator illuminates.
• IMPORTANT: User should connect hose to the drain outlet at the bottom of
the unit when unit is operating in DRY mode.
Note: In this mode, fan speed will default to low and cannot be changed.
E. Sleep mode
• SLEEP mode can be activated when in COOL mode.
• In COOL mode: After 1 hour, the preset temperature is increased by 2°F.
After another hour, the preset temperature will again be increased by 2°F.
Then, the temperature is kept constant for 10 hours. All indicator lights will
dim. Fan speed will switch to low for silent operating and cannot be
changed.
