CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
DRAINAGE & SELF EVAPORATIVE SYSTEM
The unit's self-evaporating system uses the collected water to cool the
condenser coils for better efficiency. As a result, there is no need to empty the
drainage tank when the unit is operating in cooling mode. However, i drying
modes or in high humidity conditions, the drainage tank will need to be
emptied.
For continuous or unattended operation in drying modes, connect the unit's
drain hose to a bucket or drain in such a way that the waste water can flow by
gravity into a suitable drain or container. See detailed instructions below:
• Switch off and unplug unit.
• Remove rubber plug from water outlet
opening and place it somewhere safe.
• Securely and properly connect the
drain hose and ensure that it is not
kinked or obstructed.
• Position drain hose over a drain or
bucket and ensure that water can
freely flow out of the unit.
• Do not submerge the end of hose in
the water, as this could create an "air
lock" and prevent the water from
draining.
To avoid water spillage:
• Tilt the drain hose downward toward the floor. It is appropriate that the
degree of inclination should exceed 20 degrees.
• Straighten hose to avoid trapping air or obstructing water flow.
