CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
IMPORTANT: The unit's air filter should be cleaned once every two weeks.
As your unit operates, dust will collect on the filter and eventually restrict
airflow. Restricted airflow reduces the efficiency of the unit and, if filter
becomes entirely blocked, can cause damage to the unit.
The air filter is removable for easy cleaning. Do not operate the unit without an
air filter, or else the evaporator could be contaminated.
1. Press POWER button to switch off the unit and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the mesh filter from the unit.
3. Use a vacuum cleaner with hose attachment to suck dust from the filter.
4. Turn the filter over and rinse the air filter under running water. Let the
water run through the filter in the opposite direction of air flow. Set aside
and allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling.

WARNING:
Do not touch the evaporator surface with bare hands. This could cause injury to
fingers.
