DISCLAIMER: The C250 was built using the Ford F150 chassis. This manual is a supplement to
the original equipment Ford F150 owner's manual linked in the beginning of this guide. Information
contained in this manual supersedes all applicable text in the F150 owner's manual.
The F150 vehicle body (including cab, bumpers, bed, mirrors, cameras/parking sensors, body
panels, seats, restraints, and lighting equipment, among others) is removed during alteration of the
F150 to the C250. The following examples are functions changed or removed during alteration:
- 4x2/4x4 axle locking modes are unavailable.
- The airbag system in the C250 is not functional.
- The C250 has a revised powertrain calibration with a single drive mode.
- The Ford infotainment, SYNC system, and center screen control system is removed.
Audio function is replaced with a C250 specific radio (see page 4). The driver cluster display is retained.
- The Ford HVAC system is replaced with C250 specific HVAC system and controls (see
page 5).
- The folding shift lever is disabled.
- Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is removed.
- The spare tire and tool kit is removed.
- Use of snow chains is not accommodated on the C250.
- The Ford key fob is eliminated but remains mounted to the original equipment key system
to enable the vehicle to start.
- The refrigerant capacity is revised to 1.87 lbs.
Modifications to the vehicle exhaust are not approved and will void the vehicle warranty.
