Rear View Camera and
Road Side Camera Monitor
The rear view camera monitor is located above
the windshield. The monitor provides a video image
of the area behind your vehicle when the
transmission is in reverse (R). A road side view
camera also provides a video image of the area
to the road side of your vehicle when the left turn
signal is activated.
See page 26 for the location of
the rear view and road side cameras.

SEATBELT PRECAUTIONS
In a rollover crash, an unbelted person is significantly more likely to die than a person
wearing a seatbelt.
It is extremely dangerous to ride in a cargo area, inside or outside of a vehicle. In a
crash, people riding in these areas are more likely to be seriously injured or killed. Do not allow people
to ride in any area of your vehicle that is not equipped with seats and seat belts. Make sure everyone
in your vehicle is in a seat and properly using a seatbelt. Failure to follow this warning could result in
serious personal injury or death.
The airbag system in the C250 is not functional. The label covering the airbag
indicator on the steering wheel must not be removed. All occupants, including the driver, should always
wear their seat belts assemblies whether or not an air bag is also provided at their designated seating
position to minimize the risk of severe injury or death in the event of a crash.
Each seating position in your vehicle has a seatbelt system made up of a lap and
shoulder belt, one buckle and one tongue designed to be used as a pair. Use the shoulder belt on the
outside shoulder only. Never wear the shoulder belt under the arm. Never use a single seatbelt for
more than one person. Failure to properly wear your seatbelt could seriously increase the risk of injury
or death.
Always drive and ride with your seat back upright, with the shoulder belt snug and
across the torso, and the lap belt snug and low across the hips, and not across the abdomen.
