SWITCHING THE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS
ON AND OFF
Push the lever up or down to switch the turn signal
lights on. Set the lever to the middle position to
switch the turn signal lamps off.
SWITCHING THE HAZARD FLASHERS
ON AND OFF
The hazard flasher button is on the instrument
panel (see page 3 for the location of the button).
Press the button to switch the hazard flashers on if your
vehicle is creating a safety hazard for other road users.
When you switch the hazard flashers on, all front and rear
direction indicators flash.
Note: The hazard flashers operate when the ignition is in
any position, or if the key is not in the ignition. The battery
loses charge and could have insufficient power to restart
your vehicle.
Press the button again to switch them off.

Top Brake Light - On at all times while the vehicle is switched
on. Lights brighten when the brakes are applied.
Auxiliary Flasher Light - Controlled using the instrument
panel button pad. A light on the button pad will indicate if the
auxiliary flasher light is on. See page 5 for the button location.
Turn Signal and Hazard Lights - A dash panel
indicator flashes when you switch the turn signal lights
or the hazard lights on.
Brake and Tail Lights - On at all times while the vehicle is
switched on. Lights brighten when the brakes are applied.
Reverse Lights - On when the vehicle is in reverse (R).
Keyless Operation
KEYLESS ENTRY
The cab and cargo doors are controlled by a remote
control keyless entry system fob. Mechanical keys are also
provided for manual unlocking.
To operate the keyless entry system, press the button in the
center of the remote control fob with either a single press,
double press, or press & hold, depending on which door you
want to open.

KEYLESS OPERATION
The cab doors automatically lock after being
closed. Keep the remote control key fob with you at all times to
prevent locking yourself out of the vehicle. The cargo roll-up doors
automatically lock 10 seconds after an unlock signal. If the key fob
is detected in the cab while the curbside cab door is closed, the
vehicle will not auto lock after door closure.
All vehicle doors have a mechanical key for manual unlocking.
KEYLESS IGNITION
The vehicle ignition is controlled through a proximity-based
remote control fob. The fob must be in the cab of the vehicle to
start the engine. To start the engine, press the brake pedal while

pressing the engine start button. To shut off the engine, put the
gear shift into park (P), then press the engine start button.
WALKAWAY SHUTDOWN FEATURE
The vehicle will begin an auto-shutdown sequence if the
remote control key fob is moved 15 feet from the vehicle while
the gear shift is in park (P). After a brief timer, the engine will
turn off automatically. The cab doors' automatic lock are
controlled separately after the cab doors are closed.
PROXIMITY UNLOCK
The curbside cab door will automatically unlock as the driver
is returning to the vehicle and approaches the detection zone
outside the curbside cab door.
