Operation
Switching on/off and setting the temperature

Insert the plug into a mains power socket .
♦
Press the ON/OFF button
appliance . 180 c (= 180°C) flashes on the display 2, the appliance starts
to heat up .
♦
Use the "+/-" 3 4 buttons to set a temperature between 100°C and
180°C in 10°C increments . The set temperature starts flashing on the
display 2 . As soon as the selected temperature is reached, the display 2
lights up permanently .
♦
Hold down the ON/OFF button
the appliance .
♦
Pull out the plug and allow the appliance to cool down completely .
Key lock
To prevent accidentally changing the temperature during straightening, you can
manually activate the key lock .
♦
Hold down the "+" button 3 for about 2 seconds . The buttons are now
locked and the lock symbol
♦
Press the "+" button 3 again for about 2 seconds to deactivate the key
lock . The buttons are now unlocked and the lock symbol
from the display 2 .
