CLEANING
General Exterior Cleaning: Turn off the dehumidifier, wait two minutes for the fan to
stop, and unplug it from the wall socket. Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or light
debris from the exterior surface of the dehumidifier and air inlet/outlet.
Filter Cleaning: The filter is located behind the air inlet and filter casing on the back
of the dehumidifier. To access the filter:

Remove the filter casing from the rear of the dehumidifier.

3. Use a vacuum cleaner and damp cloth to clean the filter of any dust and
particles.
4. Put the filter casing back into position at the rear of the dehumidifier.
Water Tank Cleaning: The water tank should be cleaned every few weeks to prevent
growth of mould, mildew, and bacteria. Partially fill the tank with clean cold water.
Swish it around and then empty the tank.
To thoroughly clean and dry the tank you can remove the lid to gain access to the
inside of the tank.
DO NOT remove the float from the top of the water tank as this may cause damage
and prevent the dehumidifier from functioning as intended.
DO NOT use cleaning agents or hot water.
