1. Be sure to remove the cover of your basic
electronics in order to drill the two holes
(see sketch on the left).
2. Screw the sabotage contact of the Secure
Ethernet Adapter and the
cover of the basic electronics using the
Phillips screws M 2.5 x 10 mm provided. To
ensure the required distance between the
cover of the electronics box and the sabo-
tage contact, mount the two spacer rollers
(5 mm) between the sabotage contact and
the top of the housing cover (see drawing on
the bottom left).
3. Secure the sabotage contact with the two
M 2.5 nuts.
4. Now please perform a function test of the
sabotage contact using a multimeter. When
the sabotage contact is actuated by inserting
it into the in-wall housing, the switching con-
tact is closed. Do not connect the sabotage
contact to the Secure Ethernet Adapter.
When the button is in closed position, a
resistance value of approx. 5.1 kΩ should
now be measured at the connection line to
the Secure Ethernet Adapter. Wire the con-
nection line of the sabotage contact to the
Secure Ethernet Adapter in the building after
performing a test measurement.
