agriculture. To raise the pressure of the water
mains in accordance with local regulations (max.
pressure on inlet 2 bar).
Any other use differing from those mentioned
above could be hazardous, harm people and/or
damage nearby property and the machine itself.
IMPROPER USE
The machine must not be used for handling haz-
ardous materials, e.g. accumulation of inflamma-
ble or explosive products, solid material or any
other object that could be dangerous to the ma-
chine itself as well as the operator, bystanders,
animals or property. Examples of improper use
may include, but are not limited to operating the
machine:
Without the original accessories supplied by the
f
manufacturer.
With original accessories but in a way not in accor-
f
dance to the instructions.
Without original spare parts.
f
With unauthorized modifications.

PREPARATION
Unpacking and completing the assembly should
be done on a flat and stable surface, with enough
space for moving the machine and its packaging
and use of suitable equipment.
WARNING
Always unplug your machine from its power
source before any adjustment. Before starting it
is necessary to make sure that there are the nec-
essary electrical protection measures, by means
of a test carried out by a specialist. While the
pump is operating persons must not be in the liq-
uid to be pumped. The pump may be connected
only by means of a safety switch for fault currents,
with a rated opening current up to 30 mA and a
socket with an earth contact installed in compli-
ance with the regulations. Protection: at least 10
Amps. Operation in swimming pools and garden
ponds is not recommended.
NOTE
The temperature of the liquid conveyed must not
exceed 35°C. It is recommended to use a preliminary
filter and exhauster with a suction hose and non re-
turn valve to avoid long suction times and pointlessly
damaging the pump due to solid foreign bodies.
CONNECTIO AND PRIMING
Before starting for the first time the pump has to
be filled through the delivery pipe and the prim-
ing cap with the delivery liquid until it overflows
(Fig. 2).
Fit the suction pipe for drawing water rising to-
wards the pump. Avoid fitting the suction pipe
higher than the pump, to avoid formation of air
bubbles in the suction pipe.
NOTE
The suction and delivery piping must be fitted so as
not to be able to apply any echanical pressure on the
pump. The suction valve should be situated at least
30 cm below the bottom water level. Suction pipes
that are not airtight suck in air obstructing suction
of the water. During suction, the cut-off parts (spray-

ers, valves, etc.) situated in the delivery piping have
to be fully open so that the air in the suction pipe can
be freely expelled.
OPERATION
OPERATING PRESSURE
The pressure tanks unit are factory set with an
operating pressure of 1,5 to 3,0 bar. The start and
cut-off pressure can be adjusted and may be set to
the desired pressure, according your needs from
the pressure switch. Use start pressure adjustor
(Fig. 3.1) to set the pressure at with you wish the
unit to start automatically. Use cut-off pressure
adjustor (Fig. 3.2) to set the pressure at with you
wish the unit to stop automatically. Consult an
authorized service centre. for guidance and ad-
justments.
WARNING
The pump must never run dry. The manufacturer's
warranty is null and void in the event of damage to
the pump caused by its running dry. Check that the
pump is airtight, piping that is not airtight draws in
air preventing the pump from working properly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
See the respective table at the end of the manual.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
MAINTENANCE
For your own safety, turn the switch off and re-
move the machine from its power source, before
any operation of maintenance on the machine.
Keep your appliance clean. In order to avoid over
heating, regularly check and clean any air open-
ings. After a long period of use, it is recommend-
ed to have the machine checked by an authorized
service centre. Connections and repairs of electri-
cal equipment may only be carried out by an cer-
tified electrician.
CLEANING
Use a small soft brush to clean the outside of the
machine. Do not use strong detergents. House-
hold cleaners that contain aromatic oils such as
pine and lemon and solvents such as kerosene can
damage plastic housing or handle. Wipe off any
moisture with a soft cloth. Remove dust, dirt and
machining residues with an appropriate vacuum
cleaner if necessary.
STORAGE
Turn the switch off and remove the machine from
its power source to store it. Store the machine
only in dry and well ventilated areas. In case the
machine will be stored for an extended time, use
the following storage procedure:
1. Thoroughly clean it and inspect for any loose
or damaged parts. Repair or replace damaged
parts and tighten any loose screws, nuts or
bolts.
2. Lubricate and apply grease, where required.
3. Store it in its original packaging.
