CATEGORY SAFETY WARNINGS
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Make sure that you use appropriate and certified
personal protective equipment when operating
the product. Make sure that you wear clothing
which does not hamper movements, protective
gloves, dust mask, eye and hearing protection and
safety boots with non - slip soles that will help
prevent or reduce injury risk.
MOVING PARTS HAZARDS
Moving parts can cause serious injury. Avoid con-
tacting such parts when they are still in motion
and make sure that you keep anything that could
be trapped in the operating machine, such as ex-
tremities, loose hair and clothing, away. Do not
touch the moving parts before they come to a
complete stop. Use only the specified handles on
the product. Check for correct alignment of mov-
ing parts or other failures that could be a source
of danger. A damaged guard or other part should
be replaced by an authorized service center be-
fore operating the product.
ELECTRICITY HAZARDS
Make sure that the electric cables of the machine
and the mains plug, that it is connected to, are in
good condition and not worn. Never use a dam-
aged machine or a machine with damaged or worn
electric cables and plugs. Use a socket outlet with
ground contact. Do not use the cable to pull the
plug out of the socket. Use a socket outlet with
ground contact. When the machine is to be used
outdoors, use only extension cables intended for
outdoor use. The cross section of any extension
cable must be of the appropriate size and the
mains connection must be protected by an ap-
propriate fuse. Consult a qualified electrician for
further instructions.
The voltage and frequency ratings of the electric-
ity supply must be within the specifications of the
machine. Do not come in contact with grounded
surfaces or electric cables, to avoid the risk of
electric shock. Do not expose the product and the
electric cables to wet conditions and never touch
when wet. Make sure that the electric cables do
not come into contact with the hot parts of the
machine and also protect them from heat, oil and
sharp objects. Always hold the power tool by its
insulated gripping surfaces.
When operating near power supply wiring, pay ex-
tra attention so that the machine or any accesso-
ry attached to it do not come in contact with the
wiring, in order to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Use suitable detectors to find hidden wires and
any utility lines.
FIRE AND BURN HAZARDS
Some parts of the machine get hot enough during
operation to cause burns and ignite flammable
materials. Do not touch hot parts in order to avoid
getting burned. Allow the machine, tools and
work piece to cool down before touching them.
Make sure that you keep your work area clean and
tidy and do not use the machine near flammable
materials. Remove all flammable materials within
15m of the operating area. If removal is not possi-
ble, tightly cover them with fireproof covers. Take
precautions to ensure that flying sparks do not
cause fires or explosions in hidden spots, cracks
or areas you cannot see. Wear garments that are
oil-free with no pockets or cuffs that will collect
sparks. Keep work lead connected as close to the
weld area as possible to prevent any unknown, un-
intended paths of electrical current from causing
electrical shock and fire hazards. Let the machine
cool before storing it. If a fire occurs, use an ap-
propriate fire extinguisher.
