■ To minimize the risk of burns, ignition of flammable
materials and overturning utensils, turn cookware handles to
the side or center of the cooktop without reaching adjacent
burners.
■ Always turn off the burner control knobs before removing
the utensil.
■ Carefully supervise frying foods when the burner flame is
high.
■ Always heat the fat slowly and watch for process.
■ Food for frying should be as dry as possible. Frost on
frozen foods or moisture on fresh foods can produce bubbles
on hot grease and on the sides of the pan.
■ Never attempt to move a pan of hot oil, especially a fryer.
Wait until the fat has cooled completely.
■ If the appliance is connected to a power supply, the data
sheet must include a connection diagram (for the purpose of
connection) unless the appliance is equipped with the cord
provided with its connection plug.
■ Operating instructions should state that the use of
unsuitable shielding for hot plates can cause accidents.
