battery back-up installation

Ensure the gas and electrical power to the appliance is turned off.
•
Appliance may be hot, do not service until the appliance has cooled.
note:
In the event of a power failure, your appliance can be operated using a USB power bank as a battery back-up.
A.
Before beginning installation, turn off the gas and disconnect the electrical power supply from the
appliance.
B.
Remove the safety screen to easily access the control compartment.
C.
Locate the control board under the fi rebox.
D.
Unplug the USB power supply going to the control board and replace it with a USB power bank (not
supplied).
E.
Reinstall the safety screen. The safety screen must be installed at all times during the appliance operation.
F.
Turn the gas and electrical power back on to begin operating the appliance.
