Operating instructions
Preparation
1. Ensure that all hoses are not cracked, crushed or pinched and in good
condition.
2. Check the pump oil level. The machine should be on a level surface.
Oil level must be in the middle of the transparent sight glass (A in fi gure 1).
3. Check the engine oil level. The engine should be on level surface.
Remove (yellow) dipstick/plug (B in fi gure 2). The oil must be level with the rim
of the oil fi ller hole.
4. Check water inlet cannister condition, ensure cap seal is watertight (fi gure 3).
5. Check the water inlet fi lter. Unscrew the cannister cover (C in fi gure 3) rinse if
necessary. Remove and clean the internal mesh screen fi lter.
Reinsert mesh screen and screw cannister cover back into place. Make sure cap
gasket is in
place and t properly tightened
6. Check the condition of the inline burner fuel oil fi lter (D in fi gure 4). Replace
the fi lter if it is damaged or dirty.
WARNING :
To prevent injury :
• Before inspecting, cleaning or repairing, make sure that the device is positioned
on a flat level surface, that the vehicle or trailer wheel brake is engaged and that
the key is removed from the engine ignition switch.
•Avoid risk of water injection; always engage safety trigger lock latch on the spray
gun handle as soon usage stops especially when replacing nozzles.
• Always wear protective clothing, gloves and safety glasses when operating,
inspecting, cleaning or repairing this equipment.
Filling the fuel tanks
1. Remove the fi ller cap (E in fi gure 5) from the engine fuel tank.
2. Fill with unleaded gasoline minimum 86 octane or
superior. Avoid overfi lling. Do not fi ll above the top
of the gasoline fi lter. Prevent any water or dirt from entering the tank
during refueling.
3. Replace the tank cap securely.
4. Remove the burner fuel tank cap from reservoir (F in fi gure 6)
5. Fill with heating oil # 2 (or lighter) or diesel. Avoid overfi lling DO NOT fi ll to the
tank collar.
DO NOT use gasoline, any drain cleaning products or oil containing gasoline or
solvents.
6. Replace the cap securely.
DANGER:
• DO NOT remove the fuel tank caps or add fuel when the engine is running or
when it is hot
WARNING:
• Fill only outdoors and in a well-ventilated area with the equipment turned OFF.
• In the vent fuel is spilled, clean thoroughly and allow vapors to dissipate before
starting the engine.
• NEVER refuel while smoking, near an open flame, sparks or any another heat
source.
