System Response:
TIMER: The controller checks the room temperature. If it falls within the
normal range of operation as defined by the security offsets (see above),
the controller stops operating the winch. If the room temperature is out-
side the normal range, the controller operates the winch according to a
15 seconds ON / 240 seconds OFF -cycle. If the temperature is less than
the set point minus the lower offset, the winch operates in the close damper
direction. If the temperature is greater than the set point plus the upper
offset, the winch operates in the open damper direction. A fixed hyster-
o
o
esis of 1.5
F (0.8
C) is defined for this function.
MAXIMUM OPENING: The controller opens the vent all the way. Cur-
rent is cut off when the limit switch is tripped.
DISABLE SECURITY OVERRIDES: The controller disables security
overrides. In the event of a change in room temperature outside the
normal range of operation, normal operation is maintained.
NORMAL: Normal operation is maintained. The damper is positioned

NOTES
:
i) If one of the probes is defective and if you set the selection knob to the
corresponding temperature reading, the controller displays "p".
ii) The potentiometer is used to read the position of the winch. To detect
a breakdown of the potentiometer, the controller checks its operation for
10 seconds. If, in this time period, the displacement of the winch is less
than 1%, the controller signals an error.
iii) To reset an alarm, set the selection knob to MANUAL STOP.
