The number 75 now flashes on the display corresponding to a 75%
damper opening. Using the manual controls, open the damper to three
quarters. Set the selection knob to MANUAL STOP and press the push-
button.
The number 100 now flashes on the display corresponding to a full
damper opening. Using the manual controls, open the damper all the
way. Set the selection knob to MANUAL STOP and press the push-
button.
After the last step, the word "END" flashes on the display indicating the
end of the calibration. Set internal switch # 3 back to OFF. Use the
manual controls to check the controller operation; go from an opening of
100% to 0% and back again.
NOTES :
1) It is essential to stop the motor each time by setting the knob to
MANUAL STOP in order to ensure a proper recording of the position.
2) Before recording a position, you may open and close the damper
as you like until the proper position is reached.
3) You cannot backtrack to a smaller opening during the calibration.
The damper opening must increase each time you record a new point.
The controller will refuse to open the damper to a position which is
less than or equal to a previous calibration point.
4) You must record all five calibration points to store them in memory.
If the word "END" is not displayed, none of the points will be re-
corded.
5) For precision control, try to use at least 50% of the operating band
of the potentiometer corresponding to a complete displacement of
the winch.
