Setting Front Axle Camber:
Set camber more negatively:
Turn upper ball-head screw (A) to the right clockwise, and the
lower ball-head screw (B) to the left counter-clockwise.
Set camber more positively:
Turn upper ball-head screw (A) to the left counter-clockwise, and
the lower ball-head screw (B) to the right clockwise.
The metal grub screws (C) must not be twisted.
To ensure a sufficient adjustment path for the ball-head screws
(A) and (B), you first need to loosen them slightly using the small
hexagon socket wrench (D) (turn to the left counter-clockwise).
Then remove the small plastic clips (5) between the ball-head
screw and the crossbeam using a pointed tool (e.g. a small
screw driver or paper clip).
The small hexagon hole of the ball-head screws (A) and (B) is
only visible when looking right through the large hexagon hole of
the metal grub screws (C).
The metal grub screws (C) serve to fasten the ball-head screws
(A) and (B) in the axis spur. Never tighten the grub screws (C)
forcefully. Otherwise, the wheel suspension cannot move freely.
(The grub screws also must not be turned in too loosely either,
however, or else the axis stub will wobble).
Depending on rim build, the front wheel must be removed to set
the ball-head screws (A) and (B) by first removing the wheel nut
(1) with a suitable wheel nut wrench.
The wheel tappet nut (2) may remain in the rim when removing
the front wheel or detach from the wheel axle (3) when the wheel
is taken off. In this case ensure that the tappet pin (4) does not
fall out and get lost.
When the wheel is replaced later, ensure that the tappet pin (4)
is exactly in the centre of the wheel axle (3) and inserted into the
respective groove of the wheel tappet nut (2).
