FITTING
Remove and disconnect rear light clusters (remove two visible torx screws and gently pull clusters rearward).This

will expose 2 plastic plugs to remove.
Remove bumper (4 torx screws along top edge of bumper, 2 plastic plugs in wheel arch, 1 torx screw and 1 tip

screw. Fold inner arch back and remove 1 hidden bolt to bumper.
On underside of bumper remove 3 Bolts and undo 2 arch plugs each side. Before final removal disconnect rear fog

Gently pull bumper tips outwards and upwards before pulling bumper rearward.

Remove bumper reinforcement beam (hand to customer) but keep rubber chassis rail blanking plates and nuts

Remove the spare wheel and jack/polystyrene assembly and bend/remove the metal flap blocking access to the

chassis rails

Before fitting side arms, insert captive fasteners (J & K) into side arms
7.
Fastener diagrams. Note: Forward hole on side arms are M10.
On the left side loosen the rearmost exhaust bolt from its hanger. Important: Refit rubber chassis plates whilst cutting

appropriate size slots for side arms and cross bar to fit. See illustrations
Insert side arms (C and D) into chassis rails as shown, loosely attach using Bolts (E) on the most forward holes

leaving loose. Note: Holes in chassis rails for Bolts (E) are covered with tape.
On left side Access for bolt (F) is through a wiring plug, using a socket/extension bar. Remove foam if necessary.

Insert Bolt (F) into chassis through to side arm (D). Leave loose for cross bar (A) to slide through. Note: Cage nut is close to
towing eye.
Attach Towbar Mainframe (A) to side arms (C and D). Loosely attach Bolts (F, G & H). Use bolts (G) to align in

position.
Raise cross bar to its highest position and tighten All Bolts.

13. Important: Seal ends of chassis rails with tape or sealant or expanding foam to prevent ingress of water.
14. Cut bumper tag as shown and reattach bumper, and tighten rear exhaust bolt.
15. Attach preferred coupling and Electrical Plate (B) on right hand side only using provided coupling Bolts (CB)
16. Replace all trim, spare wheel, jack/polystyrene assembly, and rear light clusters in reverse order to above.
This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200
Nm Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
