5.1.1 DECK HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT LEVER
Before using the mower, raise the deck height to the
cutting position best suited for your lawn.
Cutting height is adjustable from 1-4 inch. Deck should
be raised to avoid stumps, rocks or other obstacle that
might damage mower deck.
Grasp and securely hold the deck height adjustment
lever when setting it, only releasing it once it's
securely in the desired slot to avoid potential hand
injury.
Set the cutting height only when the mower is in the
parked position or it will cause damage to the product
and/or personal injury.
To adjust the cutting height:
1. Stop the mower and disengage blades.
2. Turn the key to OFF position and press and hold the
parking brake pedal, then fully depress the brake
pedal to set the parking brake.
3. Grasp the deck height adjustment lever and move it
inwards to disengage it from the detent.
4. Move the deck height adjustment lever downward
and upward, and engage it into the detent when it
arrives at the desired cutting height.
