Arranging food in your freezer
Do not put fresh food next to food that has already been frozen to avoid causing the frozen food
to warm up.
The maximum weight of food that you can freeze over 24 hours is shown on the
information plate (inside your appliance's refrigerator section near the bottom of
the left-hand wall) under the heading: "CAPACITE DE CONGELATION/FREEZING
CAPACITY (kg/24h)".
Quick freeze
The "Quick Freeze" button enables you to
prepare your freezer to receive a large amount
of fresh food. This enables the food to be
thoroughly frozen more quickly and hygieni-
cally.
Press the "Quick Freeze" button 24 hours
before putting the food in your freezer (the
yellow light illuminates).
You can place the food to be frozen in the
compartments of your freezer but for quicker
thorough freezing we recommend that you
place them in the "Quick Freeze" area, i.e. in
the first drawer from the top (see Drawing).
Quick Freeze stops automatically after 52
hours or you can stop it manually by pressing
the "Quick Freeze" button again (the yellow
light goes out).
The food must be frozen right
through as quickly as possible in
order to preserve its vitamins, its
nutritional value, its appearance
and its taste.
