Prior to installation
▶ Download the service app of the appliance manufacturer.
Establishing the WLAN connection in the smartphone
▶ Insert Smart Service Key 2 into the service socket (3.5 mm jack connector).
▶ In the smartphone under settings, select the correct WLAN connection.
▶ Read off and enter the password on the back of the Smart Service Key 2
-or-
▶ Scan the QR code displayed
▶ Once the WLAN connection has been established: start the app.
Smart Service Key Status
•
blue: initialise
•
purple (fading): searching for the connection
•
purple: long-term data recording is running (only visible when the app and
smartphone are disconnected from Smart Service Key 2)
•
yellow (fading): connecting with the smartphone
•
green: communicating with the app
•
red (flashing): no connection possible
Long-term data recording
The Smart Service Key 2 can be used for long-term data recording of up to 14 days.
During the data recording, the Smart Service Key 2 remains on-site with the system.
▶ To start the long-term data recording: first start it from the app.
In the event of a power failure during long-term data recording:
if the Smart Service Key 2 has been charged for at least 30 minutes beforehand, the
time and thus the accuracy of the recorded data are guaranteed for up to 18 hours of
interruption.
