Hold the filter assembly over a trash can and
pull the handle on the front of the filter to
slide the mesh filter off as shown.

Sliding off the filter automatically removes the
lint. To clean off any residual lint, use a
vacuum cleaner or rinse the mesh filter under
running water.
• The filter must be completely dry before
using or it could cause an unpleasant odor.
CAUTION
• Do not tap the filter repeatedly as the built-in
magnet may dislodge and cause a malfunction.

After drying the outer filter completely,
reassemble it into the cover.

Insert the filter assembly into the product.
Cleaning the Inner Filter

Grip the external filter cover and pull it
towards you to remove it.

LG recommends periodic cleaning of the
condenser area for thorough cleaning. To
clean, loosen the screw with a Phillips
screwdriver.

Tilt the protective grille for the condenser
slightly to the left and pull it out to remove.

Grip the internal filter and pull straight out to
remove. Rinse it under running water.
• The filter must be completely dry before
using or it could cause an unpleasant odor.
