As soon as contact has been made, the information symbol
„Contact with lifting device" will light up on the radio control

unit once you press the „Status query" button on the
remote. Next, lift the levo hook slowly until the lifting eye has
automatically reached the position shown in the picture. Close
the swivel hook and continue with the lifting process.
The lifting operation must not be performed when the swivel
hook is open. Under no circumstances may the lifting process
be completed using only the magnetic module!
Make sure that the lifting eye is safely positioned at the bearing
area.

6.2 Light module

The LED of the light module is positioned just above the
(closed) swivel hook. It is activated/deactivated using the levo
remote radio control.
With the light module, the working area is fully illuminated when
the swivel hook is open. To save energy, the light will deactivate
automatically after a pre-set period of 10 seconds.
This setting may be changed (max. 900 seconds) via the
pewag levo manager software (see chapter 6.5).

6.3 Weighing module

A weighing module that may be integrated in the attachment
mechanism enables the user to track the weight development
of the individual lifting processes, in combination with the
pewag levo manager software.
It is also possible to define a weight range in levo manager.
If this weight range is exceeded or not reached, a warning
message appears
on the pewag levo manager and the pewag levo hook LH
(status display). It is therefore no longer possible to overload
the pewag levo hook unintentionally, making the application
safer for both the user and the load. Please note that this
weighing module has been calibrated but has not been verified
and that verification is not possible.

6.4 Multi-adapter and end piece

If several batteries and charging stations are used, it makes
sense to connect the individual charging stations with the
pewag multi-adapter. This eliminates the need of connecting
each individual charging station with a socket using a cable.
The pewag multi-adapter makes it possible to operate up to ten
charging stations in one line with a single device plug.

You will need one multi-adapter per charging station. Connect
the adapters with each other and then connect the charging
stations with the multi-adapter (maximum of 10 in line!) The
end piece (marked in green in the illustration) is part of the
multi-adapter and is a visual feature only.

6.5 pewag levo manager

The pewag levo manager software is a comprehensive
configuration and analysis tool for the pewag levo hook.
Among others, the programme offers the following options:
• Managing the radio control units
• Formation of hook groups
• Weighing and taring function
• Alarm feature (e.g. weight or temperature restrictions)
• Monitoring of temperature variation
• Configuration of various parameters
• Export and import functions of data
For a detailed list of the individual functions of the levo
manager, please contact your supplier or read the respective
manual. The software must be installed on a Windows PC or
laptop.
The levo manager may be downloaded from the levo landing
page (see QR-Code on pagee X). The handbook for the pewag
levo manager is also located on the landing page.
6.6 pewag levo manager USB Dongle
The levo manager USB Dongle is required for the
communication between the hook/
radio control unit and the pewag
levo manager software.
Wireless communication is set
up by connecting the device
to the USB port of a Windows
computer. An Internet connection
is not required. The maximum
transmitting signal (reach) is 100m
(unobstructed).
6.7 pewag levo hook data logger
A data logger is a processor-controlled storage unit that
records certain data via an interface and stores them in a
storage medium. The levo data logger has the option of
recording data from the weighing module as well as other
data (see pewag levo manager handbook). Data transfer and
configurations of the weighing module are also possible in
combination with these optional add-ons:
• Weighing module (see section 6.3)
• levo manager software (see section 6.5)
• levo manager USB Dongle (see section 6.6)
This data may be used for evaluations and statistics. The data
logger is part of the basic version.
