- Make sure the thin pipes running along the heating element are not damaged (do not dent or bend).
- The electrical part comes complete with a safety switch which ensures that the heating element can only
operate when the element is correctly positioned in the pan.
- Never use previously defrosted and subsequently refrozen products. These contain a lot of water which will
cause excessive spattering.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability, or
lack of experience and knowledge can give cause to hazards. Persons responsible for their safety should give
explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Always hold the electronic control unit horizontally during use or during cleaning. Do not hold the electronic
control unit vertically, diagonally or upside down during use or during cleaning.
- The appliance is suitable for indoor use only. The appliance is suitable for domestic use only.
In the case of overheating, the pan will switch off automatically.
This safety mechanism can be found on the bottom of the
electrical part. If its switches off, it can be reactivated by pressing
in the button with a long pointed object. The button is situated
deep behind the hole and you should use the restart pin supplied.
First remove the plug from the socket.
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
BLUE
BROWN
GREEN/YELLOW
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may
not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or
coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or
and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW.
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 13 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type of plug is used a
15 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board.

Veuillez lire attentivement ce mode d'emploi que vous conserverez soigneusement afin de pouvoir vous y
reporter en cas de besoin. Raccordez l'appareil uniquement à une prise de terre. Déballer l'appareil et laver les
accessoires et l'intérieur à l'eau chaude avant la première utilisation. Les sécher soigneusement avant l'usage.
Veiller à ne pas mouiller les pièces électriques. La friteuse Princess est équipée d'un thermostat réglable et d'un
voyant lumineux. Le voyant s'allume lorsque l'appareil chauffe. Dès que la température programmée est atteinte, le
voyant s'éteint. Le système de friteuse « ouverte » donne des résultats comparables aux utilisations
professionnelles en cafétéria par exemple et permet de surcroît de nettoyer facilement l'appareil.
DESCRIPTION DE LA FRITEUSE
Ce type de friteuse doit uniquement être utilisé avec de l'huile ou de la graisse liquide mais
pas avec de la graisse solide ! De l'eau pourrait en effet s'accumuler dans la graisse solide qui
risquerait alors de gicler avec violence en chauffant. Veillez également à ne pas polluer l'huile
ou la graisse avec de l'eau provenant de produits surgelés par exemple, car cela ferait gicler
l'huile de façon excessive.
- Ne jamais allumer la friteuse sans huile ou graisse car cela détériorerait l'appareil. Ne jamais
mettre 'autres substances (liquides) dans la cuve.
