1. Cleaning of Air Alters
ration. Filters are located at the back of the return air gdes
on the two sides of the air-conditioner and shall be removed
{éIBL from the rear of the unit. Use a vacuum cleaner to removed
with lukewarm soapy water, then rinse in clean water and dry
before reinstalling.

2. Cleasing of Casing and Grilles.
To dean the airconditioner, wipe it with a clean soft cloth.
In case it is stained, moisten the cloth with soapy water. Never
use solvents or harsh chemicals nor very hot water. Do not pour
water over the airconditioner to dean it. This will damage the
intemal components and cause on electric shock hazard.
3. Storage.
If you are not going to make use of the airconditioner for a long
period, before storing it away clean the air filters. Evacuate the
condensate from the indoor unit through the drain pipe at the

objects on top of the unit, and protect it with a doth or a plastic
bag.
4. Transport
Preferably keep the airconditioner in the vertical position during
transportation. If this is not possible then lay it on its right side;
when at destination put the airconditioner back in the vertical
position and wait at least 10 minutes before using it for cooling.
5. For your safety care check periodically the condi-
tions of the electric supply cable and in case you
should notice any damage due to usage call the nea-
rest After Sale Service and get the cable replaced.

If your airconditioner doesn't work propeiy, first check the following points before requesting service:
o the plug is properly inserted into the power socket;
e the circuit breaker is in the ON position and fuses have not blown;
® air filters are not clogged;
e the flexible tube is correctly positioned without any sharp bends nor plies;
• slide progressively the thermostat cursor (A) from the position 1 to the position 7 until the compressor will start again.
• the room temperature is upper than 19 'C;
• you have correctly carried-out the instructions contained in this manual;
• must be spent 3 minutes from a previous stop of the air conditioner;
• the lighting-up of / \ lamp, togheter with the stop of the airconditioner indicate that the condensate pump does not work properly;
