The maximum internal operating pressure of the TankQuick must not exceed 6.5 bar.
A higher operating pressure can damage the pump.
The maximum suction capacity is achieved at 6.5 bar, and a higher operating pressure
does not increase the flow rate.
Procedure:
Place the right hand control lever in the "0" position.
•
Connect the TankQuick to the compressed air supply (min. 7 bar - max. 10 bar).
•
Remove the two allen screws at
•
the rear of the housing, and open
the housing (see illustration1).
Pull the pressure regulator's but-
•
ton upwards, and adjust the oper-
ating pressure to its maximum of
6.5 bar by turning the button (see
illustration 1).
Press the pressure regulator's but-
•
ton down again, and close the
housing. The device is now ready
to operate.

Operation
5.1 Safety instructions
The unit must only be operated by instructed personnel. The following points must be
observed:
Inflammable fuels must only be put into containers that are suitable for this
•
purpose.
The engine and the external heating of the vehicle whose fuel is to be removed
•
or returned must be switched off during operation.
Suitable fire-fighting equipment must be to hand during operation (e.g. fire ex-
•
tinguishers)
The wheels' contact with the ground ensures that static buildup is discharged.
•
Hence, clean the wheels before operation if necessary.
5.2 Removing Fuel
Fuel is removed through the suction hose that is inserted into the tank through the
filler pipe. When removing fuel, the gas displacement line also serves to prevent the
container overflowing. If it is over-filled, the excess fuel is sent back to the vehicle
tank.
5.2.1 Assembling the Hose Fittings
The fuel removal hose fittings must be assembled as follows for vehicles that are to
be emptied through the vehicle's filler pipe (See fig. 2 – items 3 and 4 are part of the
adapter set for extracting via the fuel hose. The set is available as an accessory):
Unscrew the closing plug (4) from the gripper piece (1) and pull the fuel removal
•
hose through the gripper piece.
Screw the bushing (5) to the gripper piece (hand-type).
