OPERATION
Timer/Cooking timer
EN 14
A cooking timer can be set for each cooking zone. The hob also has
a timer. Both the cooking timer as well as the timer can be set to
a maximum of 99 minutes. The timer works in the same way as the
cooking timer, but is not linked to a cooking zone. If the timer has been
set, it will continue counting down after the hob has been switched off.
The timer can only be switched off when the hob has been switched on.
• Timer – the timer only beeps after the set time has elapsed.
• Cooking timer – the timer is linked to a cooking zone. After the set
time has elapsed, the cooking zone will switch off automatically.
Timer
When the hob has been switched on, you can set the timer.
1. Press the On/Off button.
2. Press the – and + buttons simultaneously.
The time setting '0 0' is displayed in the top two displays.
The bottom two displays have been switched off.
3. Press the - or + button to set the desired time.
▷ When you first press the - button, the time will immediately be
set to 30 minutes.
▷ If you keep the - or + button pressed, the time will run higher or
lower at an increasingly faster rate.
The time setting is visible for a few seconds; then two flashing
decimal points indicate that the timer is counting down.
4. After the set time has elapsed, '0 0' will flash in the display.
Furthermore, you will hear a repeated short beep. Switch off the
timer and beep signal by pressing a random button. If you don't do
this, the signal will switch off automatically after 2 minutes.
Note!
The timer can also be set if the cooking zones are switched on and
even if cooking timers have been set. If this is the case, the display will
indicate the power setting (and not the two flashing decimal points).
