8.3 Phase contrast set (optional)
1. Remove the brightfield condenser by loosing the locking
screw on the right side of the condenser holder. (Fig. 20)

2. Insert the round dovetail of the phase contrast condenser
into the empty slot of the condenser holder and lock the lock-
ing screw ①.
3. Screw the phase contrast objectives in the revolving nose-
piece. (Fig. 21)
