3 Installation of partition grille
7N0 017 221 A
Note
We recommend that the installation be carried out with the assis‐
tance of a second person.
– Loosely fix the retaining bracket -4- to the partition grille with
the coach bolt -8-, washer -7- and star head nut -11-.
– Loosely fix the coach bolt -9- with rubber washer -5-, washer
-7- and star head nut -10- to the retaining bracket -4-.
Note
The -arrow- indicates the direction of travel. Please observe!

The assembly of the partition grille on the right side is per‐

formed in the same manner.
– Remove the luggage compartment cover.
– Tilt the rear seat backrests to the front.
– Through the open sliding door, move the partition grille to its
mounting position.
– On both sides of the vehicle, hook the heads of the coach bolts
-9- on the partition grille into the net partition holders -arrow-.
Note
The rubber washer -5- has to rest against the retaining brack‐
