11.4 BURNER REMOVAL
*Prior to removing the burner follow the "SAFETY SCREEN AND DOOR REMOVAL" proccess and then follow
the media removal instructions located under the "MAINTENANCE" section.
Remove the media tray by removing all screws securing the front, rear and side panels.

Remove the 8 screws that secure the burner/mesh to the appliance.

Carefully lift the burner mesh as well as the burner straight up through the venturi housing mesh, as

shown in the illustration below.
Repeat this process on the other burners, if replacement or removal is necessary.

11.5 BURNER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
Prior to removing the burner follow the "SAFETY SCREEN AND DOOR REMOVAL" process and then follow
the media removal instructions located under the "MAINTENANCE" section.
Remove the media tray by removing all screws securing the front, rear and side panels.

Remove the 22 screws securing the burner/mesh to the appliance.

Remove the rear right side and then the right side porcelain panels, follow removal instructions under
the " PORCELAIN PANEL REMOVAL" section. To access the controls remove the 12 screws securing
the access plate. NOTE: It will be necessary to replace the gasket (W290-0197) for the access plate if
the unit has been previously operated before removing the plate.
D.
Remove the pilot tube bulk head plate from the appliance by removing the two screws, on the lower
right side of the appliance. Disconnect the pilot tubing. Remove the pilot wire bulk head by removing
the two screws, then disconnect the inside wire.
E.
Disconnect the fl ex connector from the valve and pivot the burner assembly up and out, ensure care is
taken when removing as to not twist or kink the gas lines.
F.
Remove the burner assembly from the fi rebox, care should be taken to ensure avoiding damage to the
gasket.
