9. E-waste law and recycling

European laws prohibit the disposal of defective or no longer usable appliances in

household waste. Should you one day wish to dispose of your appliance, please only hand

it in for recycling at the municipal collection points set up everywhere. This collection

system is financed by the industry and also ensures environmentally sound disposal and

recycling of valuable raw materials.
