17. Disposal

Electronic equipment may not be disposed of in the
domestic waste, but must be correctly disposed of in
accordance with the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT direc-
tive 2002/96/EC of 27th January 2003 regarding used
electrical and electronic equipment. Please dispose of
this device according to the applicable legal regula-
tions after its final decommissioning.
Problem
Device does not work
The odour neutraliser is
very loud
Odour pollution continues
to persist with the same
intensity even after the
cleaning process has been
completed.

Cause
Power supply is not connected.
Connection parameters do not corre-
spond to the technical specifications.
Fuse has tripped
Safety switch in the interior of the
device is not in the correct depressed
position
Power plug damaged
The device is standing on an uneven
surface.
The fan and/or its bearing is dam-
aged.
The odour neutraliser and/or one of
its assemblies (e.g. electrode) is de-
fective. No ozone is being produced.

18. Troubleshooting

Danger!
Danger to life through electrical
shock!
Pull the power plug out of the
socket before carrying out any
work on the device.
Do not attempt to carry out any
modiications on the odour neu-
traliser!
Do not bypass any of the electri-
cal safety devices!

Error correction

Plug the plug into the socket.
Check the connection to the mains.
Connection parameters: 230 V / 50Hz
Replace the defective fuse and/or
switch the fuse back on.
Beware! Fuses may not be repaired but
must always be replaced. In most cas-
es, fuses are triggered due to a serious
technical fault. Have each fuse replaced
by an authorised service technician!
Check the safety switch. Remove the
back side and insert it correctly.
Disconnect the device from the mains
supply and check the power plug and
the connection cables for damages.
Place the odour neutraliser on an even,
solid and dry surface.
Have the device checked by a certified
specialist workshop.
Have the device repaired by a certified
specialist workshop.
