As soon as the device has been started, the
room must be left immediately!
Once the cleaning process is complete, the
cleaned room may only be entered again if
the ozone concentration has fallen below
a value of 0.2 mg/m³ ! The concentration
that is still present must be checked by using
a ozone measurement device which can be
purchased either directly from Trotec or from
specialised retailers.
Always keep gas masks equipped with an
ozone filter ready when using the device in
order to protect the eyes and the respiratory
tract.
Any existing room openings are to be sealed
off in such a way that no ozone can escape to
the environment.
Put up a warning sign in order to inform other
people about the ozone treatment currently
in progress in the room and make sure that
the premises concerned cannot be accessed!
Suitable warning signs can be purchased
from Trotec.
Treated rooms must be provided with a suffi-
cient supply of fresh air and/or with a suitable
air exhaust.

Medical aspects

The following symptoms can be a sign of an intoxica-
tion and/or irritation caused by ozone:
eye irritations, conjunctivitis, burning and wa-
tery eyes
considerable tickling of the throat
shortness of breath, chest tightness
pain when breathing in
dizziness, light-headedness
headache
feeling of weakness
If you are experiencing any of the above-mentioned
symptoms when using the odour neutraliser, please
seek medical attention immediately!

Technical protection measures

Technical measures must be taken in order to pre-
vent the ozone from escaping uncontrollably into the
atmosphere.
Carry out regular maintenance and/or checks

on the device. To this end, please observe the
instructions provided in the chapter "Care
and maintenance".
Always disconnect the device from the mains
supply when it is not in use.

Safety regulations

In the Federal Republic of Germany, the relevant regu-
lations on occupational health and safety of the Ger-
man Accident Prevention and Insurance Associations
and/or the applicable standards must be observed,
including:

When using the device outside of Germany, the cor-
responding national regulations and guidelines must
be observed!

6. Proper use

The device has been designed for the purpose of neu-
tralising odours in closed rooms.
It may only be used in industrial and commercial en-
vironments. The Supercracker can therefore be used
for the professional removal of odours after fire and
water damages have occurred. It is also particularly
suitable for disinfecting rooms (by effectively killing
viruses, bacteria and mould fungus as well as carci-
nogenic and allergenic acting microorganisms).
Due to the use of the oxidation agent ozone which has
a toxic effect on living organisms, the device may only
be operated by qualified personnel that has received
special training! For each application, special safety
measures are to be taken (see chapter "Special safety
instructions for the operation of ozone generators").
Any use by private persons or in a domestic/private
environment shall be explicitly excluded!
