time the room has been exposed to the odour
source and depth up to which the material is
affected by the odour source
If the odour neutralisation is carried out in an un-
heated room that will later be used at higher tem-
peratures, there is a general risk of a subsequent
evaporation of odour-bearing molecules. This is why,
the room temperature during cleaning should always
be approx. 5 °C above the temperature that normally
exists when working in the room later on.
In the appendix, you find a table that will support you
in selecting the duration of treatment.
The values listed are to provide you with a basic frame
of reference when selecting the cleaning parameters:

12. Decommissioning

The device has been designed in such a way that it
will automatically switch off ozone generation once
the set time has elapsed. After the programme has
elapsed, an alarm signal can be heard and the green
operation indicator goes out. The display shows "Cy-
cle complete".

Programme mode "Deodor"

If the room treatment was performed with the "Deo-
dor" standard programme mode, the room air has
been regenerated with a special programme (regen-
eration cycle).
The ozone concentration should now lie below the
limit of 0.2 mg/m³ and the room can be entered.
However, for safety reasons, always check the ozone
concentration before entering the room!

Programme mode "Manual"

The regeneration function is not available when using
the cleaning programme mode "Manual". Therefore,
the ozone is highly concentrated after the cleaning
cycle is complete.
B-8
Before entering the treated room after the device has
been switched off, a waiting period must be observed.
Within this safety time period, the (natural) degrada-
tion of the remaining ozone will take place breaking it
down into divalent oxygen (0

MAC value (value of the maximum admissible work-
place concentration of a substance) of 0.2 mg/m³.
The time until the admissible concentration has been
reached depends on various individual factors, including:
Room size
Previous odour pollutants
Air humidity
Duration of treatment
Ozone has an average half life of approx. 30 min. The
following experience values can be used as frame of
reference regarding the regeneration:
