7. Installation
1. Using the key supplied, unscrew the cover screws and remove the
cover plate.
2. Remove the two fixing screws (4) left and right of the black
moulding.
3. Pull the PCB carefully upwards and out.
4. Using the back of the key switch housing as a template, mark the
drill holes (1). Drill the holes for the fixing screws.
5. Pull the connector cable through the opening provided (2) (for
permanent 12V supply only).
6. Fix the housing to the wall.
7. Fitting the half-cylinder (5): Insert a key in the half-cylinder (5) and
turn the cam with the key so that you can push the half-cylinder (5)
into the mounting. Now fix the half-cylinder (5) with the forend
screw (6). Check that both buttons can be switched with the cam.
8. Connect the cables, checking the connector strip (8) for the correct
polarity (for permanent 12V supply only).
9. Fit the PCB and make sure the spring of the wall tamper switch (9)
is seated correctly. Screw in the two fixing screws (4) to the left and
right of the black moulding.
10. Place the battery supplied in the battery holder (7).
11. Program the wireless key switch according to chapter 8. See also
Sections 8.2, 8.4 and 8.7
12. Place the parts of the reinforced fascia plate on the cylinder.
13. Make sure the spring of the lid tamper switch (10) is seated
correctly. Make sure that the sealing ring sits firmly in the housing
groove. Replace the housing lid (1) and tighten the lid screws.
14. Now go to chapter 9.
