The lower air supply is closed. The upper air supply is open, bringing the air from
above the fire. By going around the heater, the air is warmed before it reaches
the fire and this allows a clean and efficient combustion.
Lighting
Open
The two flaps are open to bring the maximum amount of air to the fire, to make
lighting it easier.
4.3. CATALYTIC HYBRID WOODBOX SYSTEM
If your stove also includes the new CATALYTIC HYBRID WOODBOX System, it will increase the efficiency
of your stove while taking care of the enviroment.
In addition to the reduction of flue consumption, thanks to this new system the emissions that occur during
combustion are significantly reduced.
This is achieved by the catalytic system installed in the upper part of the combustion chamber. Closing the
bypass, once the combustion chamber has increased its temperature, will allow the gases to recirculate
through the catalyst, where a chemical reaction will occur, in which the vast majority of the emissions
generated during the combustion process will disappear.
