• Grease the rotary blade's gear
wheel with a little ritter mainte-
nance grease (alternatively with a
little Vaseline).
• Fit the rotary blade back into
the appliance.
Cleaning the drawer
• Remove the left-over holder (6)
and the slice carriage (5).
• Make sure that the slice thick-
ness adjustment knob (11a) is
set to position "0". Otherwise, the
food slicer cannot be folded down
for safety reasons.

Use one hand to hold the
appliance at the stop plate (9)
and the other hand to press the
release button (10).
• Fold down the food slicer.
Remove the food slicer from the
drawer:

Push the slide bar lock (16a)
in the direction of the arrow.

Snap the lock clip (16)
upwards.
Slide the food slicer in the
direction of the arrow.
• Lift the food slicer out of the
drawer.
• Clean the drawer according to
the manufacturer's specifications.
Replace the food slicer in the
drawer:

Position the food slicer over
the two clamping fixtures in the
drawer.

Slide the food slicer towards
the front of the drawer until it
locks into place on the two clamp-
ing fixtures.

Press down on the lock
clip until it snaps into place.
• Plug the cable back into the
socket.
MAINTENANCE
Your food slicer is maintenance-
free. However, we recommend
that you occasionally apply a little
extra ritter maintenance grease
or Vaseline to the rails of the slice
carriage to keep them lubricated
and ensure that the carriage
continues to move easily.
STORAGE
• Remove the left-over holder (6)
and the slice carriage (5).
• Fold down the finger protec-
tor (5a).
• Make sure that the slice thick-
ness adjustment knob (11a) is
set to position "0". Otherwise, the
food slicer cannot be folded down
for safety reasons.

• Fold down the food slicer.

Hold the food slicer by the
lifting bar (4) and pull the release
lever (12). Lower the food slicer
into the drawer.
If the drawer is sufficiently deep,
the slice tray (13) can be stored
on top of the appliance.
