6. «Test» mode
Test setting should be set locally or via ETS
●
The «test» mode is used to check the type of operation, presence
detection and ensure multiple detectors are correctly coupled.
●
In case of parallel connection all detectors must be set to «test».
●
In «test» mode the detector runs through both phases whenever the
Sensor unit is plugged in on the bus interface (BCU) and whenever the
application is programmed:
1. Identification phase (90 sec.)
2. Walking test
Both phases are displayed by a light emitting diode (LED) behind sensor
lens: Regular operation is not possible in „test" mode.
1. Identification phase – LED blinks to indicate operating mode
●
After inserting the unit and after each programming the application, the
switched outputs send an „ON" message. The Pulse sequence of the
light emitting diode indicates how the detector is encoded.
2 Pulses: Master
Pulses: Slave
●
Fast blinking (4 times a second) means: no or wrong „Application".
Check the compatibility of the sensor unit HTS-BCU and application.
●
The push buttons are not operational yet
