AM noise can be caused by one of the following reasons.
Interference—Interference
causes
an
audible,
high-pitched
beat.
To
avoid
it, realign
the
direction
of the
antenna.
Also
note
that
an
outdoor
antenna
may also increase the noise level of a desired station
by accidentally
pulling
in interference
from
other stations.
Re-align-
ment in this case is also necessary.
