IMPORTANT: Disconnect the tool from the compressed air supply before servicing it.
Problem
Air leak at the trigger.
Air leak from lower part of
casing or tip.
Air leak from upper part of
casing or tip.
The tool will not start.
Fasteners driven in too
deeply.
Fasteners jump
over/uneven feeding.
Tool works slowly or
without power.
Fasteners have got stuck. Wrong type of fasteners.

Cause
O-ring for trigger valve spindle worn or
damaged.
O-ring for trigger valve head worn or
damaged.
Contamination/blockage.
Loose screw connection at casing or tip. Tighten the screw connection.
O-ring between casing and tip
damaged.
Shock absorber damaged.
Foreign object/contamination between
shock absorber and casing.
Loose screw connection between
cylinder and casing.
O-ring damaged.
Seal damaged.
Inadequate lubrication.
Cylinder head spring damaged.
Safety mechanism in the wrong
position.
Air pressure too high.
Foreign object/contamination between
piston and cylinder.
O-ring on piston worn or damaged.
Inadequate lubrication.
Piston spring damaged.
Air pressure too low.
Loose screw connection between tip
and casing.
Feeder does not pick up the fasteners. Fit the spring on the feeder.
Bent fasteners.
Wrong type of fasteners.
Seal damaged.
Piston shock absorber worn or
damaged.
Feeder jams.
Wrong nail length set in magazine.
Nail strip defective.
Inadequate lubrication.
Cylinder head spring damaged.
Contamination between piston and
cylinder.
Cylinder incorrectly fitted.
Inadequate lubrication of O-ring on
valve.
Air pressure too low.

Air hose too small.

Solution
Check/replace O-ring and lubricate.
Check/replace O-ring and lubricate.
Clean/lubricate the tool.
Check/replace O-ring and lubricate.
Replace shock absorber.
Dismantle and clean.
Tighten the screw connection.
Check/replace O-ring and lubricate.
Replace the seal.
1.Apply compressed air oil.
Replace cylinder head spring.
Turn the adjuster knob to move the
safety mechanism down.
Lower the air pressure.
Dismantle, clean and lubricate.
Check/replace O-ring and lubricate.
Apply compressed air oil.
Replace piston spring.
Increase the air pressure, but no more
than to 8.3 bar.
Tighten all the screw connections.
Use recommended fasteners.
Use recommended fasteners.
Replace seal/tighten screw
connection.
Replace shock absorber and lubricate
piston.
Clean feeder and torsion spring.
Adjust the plate or fastener length so
that the arrow on the magazine points
to right place.
Discard nail strip.
Apply compressed air oil.
Replace cylinder head spring.
Dismantle, clean and lubricate.
Dismantle and refit.
Dismantle, lubricate and refit.
Increase the air pressure, but no more
than to 8.3 bar.
Replace piston.
8.Use larger hose.
Use recommended fasteners.
Discard nail strip.
