3. Turn the adjuster nut and move the plate up or down to a suitable position for the length of
fastener, according to the markings on the lower part of the magazine.
4. Place a strip of nails in the lower part of the magazine. Unreel the strip far enough to reach the
feeder and place the second nail in the strip between feeder teeth.
5. Close the top of the magazine and lock the catch.
6. Adjust the exhaust deflector so that the exhaust is directed away from the user. Grip the deflector
and turn it to a suitable position.
IMPORTANT:
• Never point the tool at your body, or at anyone else.
• Never connect the tool to the compressed air supply before loading fasteners.
• Do not load fasteners when the trigger or safety mechanism is pressed.
• Wear approved safety glasses and ear protection when preparing or working with the tool.
• Never use a tool that is leaking air or needs repairing.
Use
1. Press the nose against the work surface, pressure the tool lightly against the work surface until the
safety mechanism is pressed down, and then squeeze the trigger to fire a fastener.
2. Adjust the driving depth with the adjuster knob. Fire a fastener and check the driving depth. If the
fastener is driven in too deep, turn the knob so that the safety mechanism is moved down. If the
fastener is not driven in deep enough, turn the knob so that the safety mechanism is moved up.
Repeat until the required driving depth is obtained.
