Memory Management
Menu Type
You can select a menu type in [Setting → LCD → Display Menu].

Classic
• The MicroSD card is formatted when changing the memory allocation.
• Make sure to back up important videos before changing memory allocation.
• The memory format type is FAT32, and if the format type is different, the dash cam proceeds
with formatting automatically. (After formatting, once you insert it into the device and supply it
with power, the formatting will be in progress to set the memory.)
• If you change the memory allocation for driving only, it only records while driving and does not
switch to parking mode. When the engine is OFF, the dash cam power is also turned OFF.

In order to increase the accuracy of ADAS
notification and guiding functions, after
running [Settings → ADAS → ADAS Guide],
adjust the red vertical line on the screen
with the left/right arrow to place it in the
center of the hood. Afterwards, adjust the
yellow horizontal line with the up/down
arrow to match it to the hood line, then
press the Done button.

• You have to use constant power when using the parking recording. Because constant power has to be
connected separately except for some vehicle models, get the help of an expert in the installation branch.(It is
recommended to install constant power supply to prevent the vehicle battery from being discharged.)
• Make sure to use a genuine FineVu power cable.Using third-party products may cause damage to the product,
fire, or electric shock due to voltage differences.
• When connecting constant power cables, pay attention to the connected position of the wiring. If the wiring
position is incorrect, the product or vehicle may be damaged.
• Do not arbitrarily cut or alter the enclosed genuine constant cables.
• Only images by shock detection and motion detection are recorded while parking.(Time lapse set separately)
• Parking motion detection recording and parking time labs recording cannot be used simultaneously.

• When booting is complete, it switches to driving in recording mode.
• The recorded video is saved in the normal folder in the memory card on a minute-by-minute
basis.
• When a shock is detected in driving recording mode, it switches to shock detection recording
mode. Based on the time of shock, 20 seconds (10 seconds before/10 seconds after) of images
are stored in the event folder in the memory card.
• If you press the Emergency Recording button on the LCD screen, the button turns red and the
mode switches to Emergency Recording Mode. Based on the time of pressing the button, 20
seconds (10 seconds before/10 seconds after) of images are stored in the camcorder folder in
the memory card.
• You can set the smart time lapse recording in [Menu → Recording Mode → Driving Recording].
• After switching to driving recording, the recorded video is saved in the normal folder in the
memory card. (No voice recording)
• When a shock is detected during the recording of driving smart time lapse, it switches to shock
detection recording. Based on the length of the shock, 20 seconds (10 seconds before/10
seconds after) of images are stored in the event folder on the memory card. Shock detection
recording videos are automatically recorded and saved at standard 30 fps; they are not time
lapse.
• If you turn off the vehicle while constant power is connected, it switches to parking recording
after 5 seconds. When you start the engine again, it switches to driving recording.
• Recording starts when a shock is detected during parking, and based on the length of the
shock, 20 seconds (10 seconds before/10 seconds after) of images are stored in the parking
folder on the memory card.
• Recording starts when a motion is detected during parking, and based on the length of motion
detection, 20 seconds (10 seconds before/10 seconds after) of images are stored in the motion
folder on the memory card.
• You can set the smart time lapse recording in [Menu → Recording Mode → Parking Recording].
After switching to parking recording, the recorded video is saved in the motion folder on the
memory card.
＊ Constant recording with smart time lapse regardless of motion detection (No voice recording)

detection recording. Based on the length of the shock, 20 seconds (10 seconds before/10
seconds after) of images are stored in the parking folder on the memory card. Shock detection
recording videos are automatically recorded and saved at standard 30 fps; they are not smart
time lapse.
