D. CHECK THE TIRE PRESSURE
Check the air pressure in all tires before use. Be sure tires are inflated to the pressure shown below.
NOTICE: Tire pressure should only be measured or adjusted when tires are cold.

WARNING: Check the tire pressure carefully while inflating. Too much air in the tire could cause the tire to burst,
causing serious personal injury.
E. TEST THE MOWER OPERATION
Inspect the entire product for damaged, missing, or loose parts
such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps, etc. Tighten securely all fasteners
and caps and do not operate this product until any missing or
damaged parts are replaced.
TESTING THE SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM
The mower incorporates a safety interlock system that will stop the
drive motors and deck motors when the operator is unseated for
any reason while the mower is operating. This is a safety feature
designed to prevent runaway or accidental entanglement. Test the
system to be sure it is working correctly.
1. Position the mower on a level surface.
2. Remove the battery packs from the box.
3. Insert battery packs (Fig. 11):
a. Grasp the handle and press it in slightly. This will unlock the
cover. The cover will slowly lift on its own.
b. Insert both battery packs as shown until they audibly lock
in place.
c. Close the cover.
4. Pick up one of the Safety keys (Item E in Fig. 4) and sit down
on the mower seat (Fig. 12).
