4.2 Oven cavities
Here you can find information about the features of the
oven cavities.
The bottom of the oven cavity conceals the lower heating
element.
WARNING
Trapped heat and the use of metallic liners may result in a

risk of electric shock or fire.
Do not use aluminum foil or protective liners on any part
of the appliance, especially the oven bottom.
NEVER cover any slots, holes or passages in the oven
bottom or cover an entire rack with materials such as
aluminum foil. Doing so blocks air flow through the
oven. Aluminum foil linings may also trap heat, causing

a fire hazard.
CAUTION
A build-up of heat can damage the appliance or cause
injury.
Do not place anything on the bottom of the oven cavity.
Always place cookware on a rack.
Do not cover the bottom of the oven cavity with
aluminum foil.
Do not place the broiler pan on the bottom of the oven
cavity to catch spills. It will damage the surface of the

oven cavity bottom.
