Do not point the camera directly toward a source of bright sunlight or towards
strong or indirect illumination as this may lead to overexposure and a fuzzy
picture.
Connection
To provide the suitable voltage supply, an optional wall plug transformer
is required (recommended: 12 V/DC, 500 mA, plug polarity: inside=plus,
outside=minus). When acquiring this wall plug transformer, check that the po-
larity of the low-voltage plug of the wall plug transformer corresponds to the
polarity marked on the low-voltage connector of the camera.
The wrong polarity can cause damage to the camera!
Proceed as follows to make the correct connections:
• Connect the BNC connection plug (colour: yellow) from the camera with the video
input on your display equipment (e.g. a monitor).
• Connect the low voltage plug from your wall plug transformer (not included in the
delivery) to the low voltage connector on the camera (colour: red).
• Plug the wall plug transformer into a domestic mains socket (230 V/AC 50 Hz).
• Turn your display device on and set the appropriate channel to enable the display
function.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before cleaning the outside of the surveillance camera's casing, unplug it from the
mains.
To clean the outside of the camera, it is suffi cient to use a dry, soft and clean cloth.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents. In case of heavy soiling, the cleaning cloth
can be slightly moistened.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household
waste!
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, in accordance
with the current statutory regulations.
