Single-Phase Energy Measurement Box – Operating Instructions
The device can be operated as a rack version or, after removing the support feet, as an A4 version in the A4
frame.
On delivery: Rack version
The device must be converted as follows for operation in the A4 frame:
1. Remove both support feet from the bottom.
2. Undo the retaining screws (x4) from the rear side of the housing, but do not remove completely.
3. Now push the housing right the way up in the slots and then tighten the 4 retaining screws back up
again.

8.2 Electrical design

The measurement system as well as the connected loads are supplied via the IEC panel plug on the rear
side. In the IEC panel plug there is a 10 A fuse that disconnects the power supply in the case of overload and
can be replaced
(refer to chapter "Maintenance and cleaning")
An IEC connecting cable (not contained in scope of delivery) is required for connection which meets the local
conditions for connecting to a power supply network incl. PE conductor.
As soon as the supply voltage is at the input, it is also at the outputs (output 1 ... 3) and cannot be switched
using the device switch. The device switch switches the supply voltage of the integrated 24 VDC power
supply and the power analyzer. This means the device can always stay connected and the measurement
system can only be switched on for the period of measurement which reduces the energy consumption.
22
Electric shock may cause potentially lethal injuries.
Only supply networks can be connected that have both a PE conductor and a neutral
conductor.
