1.1 Presentation of the clock
The Profil 730 Hospital (OP) clock is a recess-mountable analogue clock designed for hospital use
(operating theatres).
These instructions relate to "24V MIN Impulse, 24V SEC Impulse and AFNOR" models. For other
models, please see the corresponding instructions.
24V Minute Impulse: the clock is a receiver controlled by a master clock that sends minute impulses
on a parallel line.
24V Second Impulse: The clock is a receiver controlled by a master clock that sends second
impulses on a parallel line.
AFNOR ELV: the clock is a receiver controlled by a master clock that sends AFNOR NFS-87500A
messages and powered by a 6-24V low voltage network.
1.2 Unpacking the clock
Carefully unpack the clock and check the contents of the package. This should include:
- the clock,
- this manual or a quick start guide.
Version: at the back of the clock is a product label stating the version of the clock.

Use an antistatic product to clean the clock.
