TWIN-TANK PORTABLE GAS AIR COMPRESSOR
Suggested Solution(s)
1.
Replace the safety valve.
2.
Close drain valve.
3.
Tighten or reseal leaking fittings. Do not overtighten.
4.
Clean or replace intake filter element.
5.
See Maintenance and Care for testing method. Replace air hose if
there is a leak.
6.
Replace the pressure storage tank. Do not attempt to repair. Repairs
are weaker than the pressure tank walls and can result in a
catastrophic rupture when in use.
1.
Tighten or replace leaking fittings or connections (do not overtighten).
Check air hose. Replace worn components if necessary.
2.
Replace valves.
3.
Check air requirement of accessory. If it is higher than CFM and
pressure supplied by compressor, you need a larger compressor.
Most accessories are rated at 25% of actual CFM while running
continuously.
4.
See Maintenance and Care for testing method. Tighten piloted
unloader valve. If problem persists, replace the valve.
1.
Clean inlet filter or replace as necessary.
2.
Tighten or replace leaking fittings or connections (do not overtighten).
Replace worn components if necessary.
3.
Check air requirement of accessory. If it is higher than CFM and
pressure supplied by compressor, you need a larger compressor.
4.
Close drain valve.
5.
Replace pressure gauge.
6.
Replace head gasket.
7.
Replace piston work out ring.
8.
Clean check valve and replace, if necessary.
1.
Check and replace worn or broken valves.
2.
Remove and clean check valve.
1.
See Maintenance and Care for testing method. Fix air leaks or replace
components.
2.
Replace head gaskets.
3.
Replace reed valves.
4.
Clean or replace intake element.
5.
Replace regulator.
6.
Replace piloted unloader valve.
