PROBLEM CAUSE

vibration or

after a long
time of use.

Dry or corroded blades.
Blade or blade support is bent.
Bent or damaged teeth.
Loose blade bolts.
After a long time of use, the
cutting head axial clearance
may become larger and the
friction will decrease.
SOLUTION
◾
Lubricate the blades, following the
instructions in the "LUBRICATING THE
BLADES" section in this manual.
◾
Replace with a new blade or support.
Contact EGO service center for blade or
support replacement.
◾
Replace with a new blade. Contact EGO
service center for blade replacement.
◾
Tighten the blade bolts. Use an adjustable
wrench and the included hex key to
tighten the blade bolts clockwise.
◾
Tighten the inner and outer nuts on the
gearbox (see Fig. 4d).
